Annual Supply Drive
This Fall is unlike any other. As our county continues to battle this global pandemic and our children return to in person learning, parents have even greater responsibility to help their children learn.
Side by Side's work is more important than ever.
The Prince George's County school system has asked partners like us to redouble our efforts to help. To support our community and its families we are committed to helping them support their children by providing essential parent engagement tools, so they better understand their children’s need academically and socially. This work cannot be done with our your support!
We need your help!
Each coaching session costs $25 in pay to the wonderful retired teachers who will be our coaches. Also, we will be supplying families with packets of academic supplies as part of this family academic coaching. Each packet will cost $25. We are also bringing Great Start back back to in person. These programs take a great undertaking and require substantial financial support.
Can you donate $300 to pay for 8 sessions of coaching? Or $200 for a family style meal to feed up to 80 participating families? Or $75 for an interpreter for Spanish speaking families? Or $60 for a set of learning materials for 10 families?
Our goal is to raise a total of $5,000!
Your donation would be a blessing for many local families at our public schools in the great Laurel area.
